What is a SHA?

A Support Health Attestation (SHA) document can be used to provide supporting certification for other Certifying Officers to produce EHCs away from the premises of origin. SHAs are for internal movements (within the UK) only and can be used as evidence when completing an EHC.

SHAs are designed to be used each time products are consigned from one establishment to another within the United Kingdom. The SHA should typically be certified after the relevant products have been produced but before the products leave the establishment.

They are batch-specific and quantity-specific.
